Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-02

These terms cover what you get when you buy ArdusKey, what you can do with it, and the small set of things you cannot. Plain language, short version below.

1. Plans and purchases

  • Plan options may vary. ArdusKey may offer monthly, annual, lifetime, or other purchase options depending on launch timing, platform, and region.
  • What you receive is based on the option you choose. The price, renewal period, included features, and cancellation terms are the terms shown at the time of purchase.
  • Additional in-app purchases may be offered. Domain-specific features, such as professional vocabulary or specialized refinement modes, may be sold separately.
  • Devices and sharing follow platform rules. Availability across devices, family sharing, refunds, renewals, and subscription management are handled through the App Store / Google Play / Microsoft Store or the purchase channel used.

2. License scope

Frameout grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ArdusKey under the plan or purchase option you choose. Except where allowed by applicable law, you may not copy, redistribute, resell, modify, decompile, extract, or use the app, bundled model files, or model weights outside ArdusKey or in a separate product or service.

3. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the policy and process of the store or payment channel where you purchased ArdusKey. If ArdusKey does not work as expected, or if there is a duplicate charge or purchase issue, please request a refund through that channel. Frameout may help confirm the purchase or investigate the issue when needed, but refund approval, timing, and eligibility are determined by the applicable platform policy.

4. What ArdusKey is not

  • Not a medical, legal, or safety-critical tool. Voice transcription accuracy is not guaranteed; review what is typed before sending in critical contexts.
  • Not a cloud writing service. ArdusKey refines what you say on your device, so results are bounded by what can run locally. We aim to make spoken input cleaner and more usable; we do not promise unlimited rewriting, invention, or long-form writing.
  • Not a translator. v1.0 is Korean-first. English and Japanese support may arrive later; ArdusKey refines speech in the language you speak and does not translate between languages.

5. Updates

We may release model and app updates to improve refinement quality, fix bugs, or expand language support. Whether and how updates are installed is managed through your app store and device settings, and Frameout does not force updates inside the app without your consent. Returning to an earlier model version may be supported through app settings where technically available.

6. Intellectual property and training data

ArdusKey is developed using open-source AI models and training data made available under public licenses. Each model and dataset may be subject to its own license terms, and required notices will be provided in the product or separate notice materials where needed. The ArdusKey app code, brand, UI, product design, and service elements are owned by Frameout.

7. Privacy

Our privacy practices are explained in the Privacy Policy. ArdusKey does not collect your voice, dictated text, or usage activity, and the core input flow is processed on your device. You can verify this by turning off network access and using ArdusKey.

8. Beta software

If you participate in TestFlight, Google Play testing, or another beta channel, the beta version may contain errors and may differ from the final public release. You may send feedback through channels we provide, such as TestFlight feedback, Google Forms, or Discord. Beta stability and available features may change before release.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frameout's total liability for any claim related to ArdusKey is limited to the amount you paid for the software. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the keyboard, including but not limited to loss of data, missed deadlines, or message-content disputes.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Seoul, Korea, unless local consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.

11. Changes

We may revise these terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app and noted on this page. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms or general support — hello@arduskey.com. Refund issues are handled through the App Store / Google Play / Microsoft Store channel that processed your purchase.
